(SCENE) Metrospace will host an album release event for Michigan's Breathe Owl Breathe with special guest Gifts or Creatures. The event will be held at (SCENE) Metrospace, 110 Charles Street, in Downtown East Lansing on Saturday, November 2nd with two intimate shows at 7 & 9:30pm.

Breathe Owl Breathe consists of printmaker Micah Middaugh, cellist Andréa Moreno-Beals, geographer Trevor Hobbs. The trio has a knack for wrapping universal emotions in childlike language. Passage of Pegasus, Breathe Owl Breathe’s 6th full length album and follow up to 2010’s Magic Central, is an expression of solitary journeying translated through the many characters of frontman and lyricist Micah Middaugh’s distinctive folklore...Traveling light, but deep in song.

Longtime friends and Lansing locals, Gifts or Creatures, will open. Creatures is the musical pursuit of husband and wife duo Brandon John and Bethany Foote. The couple fuses a blend of Midwestern folklore, old world history and cinematic soundscapes to create a conglomeration of antique Americana.
