Current Exhibition Nov. 1 Thru Dec. 15
On Friday, November 1st, (SCENE) Metrospace opened Instructions_13, its sixth and final exhibition for 2013.
Instructions_13 is a step-by-step conceptual guide to making artwork. The exhibition has been written and curated by Britta Urness and Travis Head. Britta Urness is an artist living in East Lansing. She is a staff member with the Michigan State University Art Department. Travis Head is a Virginia-based artist.
This exhibition runs until Saturday, December 15th.
Instructions_13 features work by Caroline Caswell-East Lansing, Jakob Christmas-Boston, MA, Laney Dumbei-Coloma, MI, Gabriel Embeha-Marshall, MI, Neva Sills-Chicago, IL, Casey Jex Smith-Columbus, OH, Jacque Sullivan-Lansing, Britta Urness, Elise Toups and Ryan Groendyk-Lansing, Kim Turner-Haslett and Michelle Word-Lansing.
In conjunction with this exhibition, Kelly Boyle has curated an exhibition with a similar theme which will open on the same night across the street in the city’s Technology Innovation Center.
