Night of the Legendary Clarinetists

(SCENE) Metrospace is pleased to present "Night of the Legendary Clarinetists", created by local musician, D.J. Carleton.

The concert will feature an imagining of a dance-floor face-off between Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw in a set called "When Benny Met Artie on the Dance Floor," and then a second set paying tribute to Woody Herman's centennial. (He would have been 100 on May 16th of this year.)

The band consists of D.J. Carleton on clarinet, Joe Vasquez on bass, Nick Bracewell on drums, and Matt LoRusso on guitar.

Friday, October 11th.
