squeezebox, The White Oranges, Vandalay

(SCENE) Metrospace, 110 Charles St., will host an all-ages concert on Friday,Oct. 12, featuring squeezebox, The White Oranges, and Vandalay. The music begins at 8 p.m. Cover at the door is $5.

squeezebox is Sean Strasberger on vocals and bass, Jeff Rosenfeld on vocals and guitar, and Dave Shilakes on vocals and bass, as well. squeezebox combines a post grunge sound with an alternative pop rock vibe. Combining melodic harmonies, epic guitar solos, sing along lyrics, and multiple vocals, this band hopes to make a giant dent in the Lansing music scene.

The White Oranges consists of Kyle Roksiewicz on drums and Justin O’Kelly on vocals and guitar. Home base is Saginaw. The band began in the back woods of Caro, Michigan, with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, two metal poles for drum sticks, a bucket as a drum kit, and twenty best friends watching.

Vandalay is a four piece rock band from Michigan with an avant garde approach to the composition and performance of high quality rock music. The group includes Ben Warner on guitar, Drew Machak on vocals, Dustin Stoner on bass and Jake Greenwood on drums.
