Scene & Heard
On Monday, April 11, (SCENE) will host an all-ages show featuring GRAB IT!, Masculin Féminin and Alex Kreger with Deon Foster as part of its (SCENE) & Heard music series.
Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
Admission at the door is $3 for students and $5 for the general public.

GRAB IT! is a work for “ghettoblaster,” tenor saxophone and video that cuts up parts of the 1970s film "Scared Straight" written by Dutch composer Jacob ter Velduis.
Masculin Féminin is a setting of spoken poetry by Bethany Austin-Smith joined by spatialized clarinet sounds in a video setting by Sam Merciers.
There will also be a live improvisation between pianist and composer Alex Kreger and VJ artist Deon Foster.

(SCENE) Metrospace is East Lansing’s City-funded contemporary art gallery and performance space. It is located at 110 Charles St. in the colorful Division Street parking structure, next door to Georgio’s Pizza.
