The 2015 Michigan State University Department of Art, Art History, and Design Undergraduate Exhibition marks an important achievement for our student exhibitors. These students continue a long history preceded by thousands of Michigan State University Alumni who have shown in past Undergraduate Exhibitions at MSU. Centered in a learning environment that values the development of personal vision, critical inquiry, and philosophical reflection, Undergraduate students across all disciplines make intellectual and artistic discoveries. This exhibition features a sampling of work from Ceramics, Drawing, Electronic Art + Intermedia, Graphic Design, Photography, Painting, Printmaking, and sculpture.
This year the Undergraduate Exhibition Guest Juror is Annette Lawrence, Professor and Chair of Studio Art at the University of North Texas, College of Visual Arts and Design. She received an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Hoffberger School of Painting, and a BFA in Sculpture from the Hartford Art School, University of Hartford.
The 2015 Undergraduate Exhibition is organized and supported by the MSU Department of Art, Art History, and Design. This exhibition is hosted by (SCENE) Metrospace and the City of East Lansing.
