Spitzer Space Telescope, The Bard Owls, Can I Get an Amen


(SCENE) Metrospace, 110 Charles St., will host a concert featuring Spitzer Space Telescope, The Bard Owls, and Can I Get an Amen on Friday, May 10, at 8 p.m.

The admission is $5 at the door, and this is an all-ages event.

Spitzer Space Telescope is Dan MacDonald and his guitar and a harmonica. Dan was a regular at Magdalena's Tea House back in the early 2000s in Lansing. A graduate of Boston University, he now lives in Chicago, IL. He creates an alternative blend of folk and pop.

Founded in 2011, The Bard Owls are a folk band based out of East Lansing, Michigan. Four of the five members were students/graduates of the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities (RCAH) at MSU. They specialize in a blend of old time, folk, gospel, original songs and some pop/alternative covers. They have a special love for Civil War songs.
