Good Time Gang Recordings presents "Situations At Hand," a CD compilation of Michigan artists including Stargrazer, The Plurals, The Ryans, The Concept, Luke Schmidt, The Knights Without, Deep Sea Creatures, Head and Toe, The Break-Ups, The Cartridge Family, Crookedsound, Eittah Y Eiknarf, My Fearless Leader, Drinking Mercury, Tyler Bradley, Walk vs. Fly, and Dem Gross Boyz.

Featuring beautiful cover artwork by Lansing poster artist Craig Horky,“Situations At Hand” takes its title from a 1985 song by seminal DIY punk rockers The Minutemen, whose bassist Mike Watt gave his personal blessing for the compilation. The compilation, sponsored in part by East Lansing vintage clothing store Scavenger Hunt, features 17 artists (mostly Lansing area with a few Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo area acts added for good measure) of all styles, many of whom are making their record debut. Punk, folk, spacey pop, rap, and all forms of rock and roll turn up on the compilation, with Good Time Gang artists including The Plurals, Head and Toe, The Break-Ups, and The Knights Without among others contributing exclusive new recordings alongside other local music mainstays including The Cartridge Family, The Ryans, Stargrazer, The Concept and more. Several artists from the compilation will be performing 15 minute showcase sets at the CD release event, along with instrumental interludes by Lansing underground jazz legends Hardy Richard.
