The 14/4 Student Design Competition

On October 23rd, at 4:00 p.m. in room 119 of the Psychology Building, across from Snyder Phillips Hall, the Student Design Competition will unleashing a design competition.

The 14/4 Design Competition gives competitors 14 days to produce designs for a facility, advertising campaign or new name for the Project. Then they have 4 minutes to present their idea to a judging panel for cash prizes of $200 for 1st place and $100 for 2nd place in each of the three categories.

Event Timeline:

October 23, 4:00 p.m., Psychology Building room 119, Registration – participants receive design specs, instructions and guidance.

November 5, 5:30 p.m., Participants give notification of their intent to display a submission in the competition.

November 6, 4:00 p.m., Entries brought to (Scene) Metrospace, 110 Charles St., E. Lansing.

November 6, 7:00 p.m., Competitors begin their 4-minute presentations.

November 10 – 13, (Scene) Metrospace displays entries for public input to the judging.

November 12, Finalists are selected and notified.

November 13, 4:00 p.m., Awards Ceremony, at (SCENE) Metrospace, finalists must be in attendance to receive recognition and cash prize winnings. Winners will also be recognized on our Facebook page.
