Brazil- Live November 18, 2006
EAST LANSING, Mich. — (Scene) Metrospace presents an evening of music featuring Muncie, Indiana based indie rock band Brazil, whose sound the AllMusic Guide describes as "absolutely huge." Also appearing with Brazil will be Lansing-based rock'n'roll saviors The Playback, Grand Rapids-based The Afterword, and Okemos-based Brain Raid. The evening of music will take place on Saturday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. This event is all ages, smoke- and alcohol-free, and open to the public. $5 at the door. Space is limited.
The performances will run in conjunction with (Scene) Metrospace's current exhibit, featuring artwork by Michigan State University and Kendall College of Art and Design (Grand Rapids) graduate students.
(Scene) Metrospace is located at 303 Abbott Road, at the Albert Street intersection and is open Wednesday through Friday from 1-4 p.m., Friday evenings from 6-9 p.m., and Saturdays from 6-9 p.m., and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. during scheduled exhibits.
